Overview

About the experience

The Timlalin Dunes rise just behind Morocco's Atlantic coastline near Tamri, about an hour north of Agadir. Their long, steep faces of fine golden sand make them one of the best places for sandboarding near Agadir — each run is fast and fun, and the view from the crest stretches from the dunes to the ocean.

Sand is far more forgiving than snow. Most first-timers find their balance after a few runs, and a fall simply ends in a soft landing and a laugh. You can ride standing like a snowboard or sit down like a sled, which makes sandboarding a favourite for families, children and groups of friends.

A sandboarding session combines perfectly with a camel ride or a quad bike tour, and ends beautifully with sunset tea on the dunes. Tell us which experiences interest you and we plan the day around your group.
